When it comes to my after-shower routine I keep it pretty simple. I slap on some lotion and call it a day. However, thanks to 08liter, I was sent the AVIVI Beauty Rejuvenate Body Oil to try and review. I’ve never tried a body oil before so I decided to do a little of bit of research on what ingredients are in the oil. From what I’ve gathered, AVIVI Beauty is a cruelty-free company that uses all natural ingredients. And the Rejuvenate Body Oil is no exception, oil using four ingredients: Avocado oil, peppermint oil, lavender oil and rose oil.
Each ingredient plays its role in how it’s going to affect and improve the skin. The first ingredient infused in the oil is Avocado Oil. This is a great ingredient for a body oil because not only is it an antioxidant, it contains various vitamins such as B1, B2 and D. In addition, it is great for absorption into the skin. Avocado oil can help hydrate and moisturize the skin and protect it from skin damage.
The next ingredient is Peppermint Oil. Everyone knows what peppermint oil smells like, but do you know how your skin benefits? This oil is an antiseptic that helps to rid acne and also brighten the skin. The following oil is Lavender Oil, which many of you know is used to help us relax. In addition, it relaxes your muscles, moisturizes and detoxifies the skin. Lastly, the final ingredient in this body oil is Rose Oil. It’s used to help rid of blemishes with its anti-microbial power and also to increase the skin’s permeability!
Body Oil Review
I want to first start off by saying that the packaging is beautiful! It’s simple, yet chic and I love the silver foiling AVIVI designed for the box. Now let’s get to how the product worked on me…So after I took my shower, I dried off a tiny bit but still kept myself pretty damp as I read it’s better to apply it this way. The body oil has no color to it but its smell was pretty strong at first. I was a little worried that, although the scent was great, that the intensity of it wouldn’t let up. Thankfully this wasn’t the case after I applied it. After several minutes, the intensity faded but I still smelled really good. I applied the Rejuvenate Body Oil from head to toe and it left my skin feeling really soft and moisturized. Even after 24hrs my skin still feels this way! A little bit goes a long way with this oil especially given that I received the 4oz bottle. the AVIVI Beauty Rejuvenate Body Oil retails at $45, which to be honest I wouldn’t personally spend that much money on it.
I do like the product and would definitely recommend it to you guys, but I’d start off with the 2oz bottle, which costs $25, and see how you like it.
